MediaMerge/Connect for Legacy Tape Systems will continue to support direct mainframe attachment of virtually any removable tape device, primarily in support off data interchange requirements.
MediaMerge/Connect for Virtual Tape Systems has been reengineered from the bottom up to support virtual tape implementations across the mainframe enterprise. While providing the driving force for tape virtualization and offering connectivity to mainframe systems marketed by both IBM and Unisys, MM/Connect for VTS provides unmatched scalability.
